Hi
I have been crafting since I was a young girl. I have always collected photographs and labeled them, collected tickets and memories of events. I have always been creative and love learning new DIY techniques. Both my mom and grandmother were also crafty and were professional seamstresses. My Dad even created custom t-shirts as a sided gig while he worked full-time and eventually tried machine embroidery, so I come from a crafty family!
In 2002 I discovered scrapbooking at a scrapbook demonstration/workshop at a family members home. I immediately fell in love with the beautiful layouts and presentations and was hooked! I ordered everything and a rolling cart from the company to hold all my supplies. That love grew into decorative stamping, and I discovered Stampin up! I became a hobby demo and would buy things here and there but at the time I was working part time and caring for my twin babies. Life was very busy so I took a break from crafting to concentrate on the family. They came first. Now they are old enough (12) to do many things on their own which let’s me pursue my dream and my love of crafts. My husband knows how much I love to craft anything and over the years.
Today, I continue to follow companies, blogs, designers and various artists who work within these industries and I am amazed at their creations. I have collected so many things over the years including a cricut machine but not enough time to craft. Now I finally have the time I need to do what I enjoy the most besides hanging out with my family so I have created a craft studio/office where I house my work life “stuff” and my papercrafting supplies. I decided to re-join stampin up in January 2019 but this time I decided I wanted to move towards a business model. I really enjoy teaching people how they can make beautiful cards and also find a nice relaxing hobby they can take anywhere (even on vacation!). In a short while I have even made new friends being with stampin up. It is nice to find people as passionate about paper, ink, crafts, etc.
I am also a chalk couture independent demonstrator. If you love the chalk look then you will love creating decor using this product. it is so easy to use and you do not have to be very crafty. The product does the work for you! It is simple to use, cleans up easily, and is very versatile as you can use the product on all types of material. I can’t wait to showcase my Chalk Couture with you coming summer 2019!
